Description

This terrace comprises numbers 18 to 21 Bridge Street, dating to the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with pantiled roofs. It presents a symmetrical eleven-window front, arranged over two storeys. Each property has a six-panel door with a divided overlight, except for number 21, which features a six-panel door and a fanlight with radial glazing set within fluted reveals, a pilastered doorcase, and a segmental pediment. A boarded service door is located to the right of the entrance at number 18. The windows are 16-pane sashes, set within architraves with timber sills, and are topped by flat, gauged brick arches. Windows above the doors feature similar 12-pane sashes. A stepped brick eaves cornice runs along the roofline, with end and axial stacks. The left-hand verge is plain and close, while the right-hand gable features tumbled-in brick and a later-raised plain close verge.
