Description

Otters Swift Farm Barn is a barn built in the 1860s. It is constructed from rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with coped gables. The barn has a central entrance that is segmental-headed and includes barn doors. There are large slits with rounded ends for ventilation. At the left end of the barn, there is a cow house with an entrance that has a lintel. The roof is supported by trusses with iron tie rods. This barn is noted for its architectural pretension, making it an unusual example of a farm building.
