Description
Hollin Hey House is an early 19th-century brick house with a slate roof, located on the north side of Old Garswood Road in Seneley Green. The building is two storeys tall and consists of three bays. The ground floor features canted bay windows topped with hipped roofs, while the first-floor windows have wedge lintels. All windows are sashed, and the first-floor windows include glazing bars. The central entrance is round-headed and includes a doorcase with flat pilasters and an open pediment, complete with a fanlight and a six-panel door. There are two stacks on each gable end, and the returns have pointed attic windows that are also sashed, featuring intersecting upper glazing bars. At the rear, there is a full-height stair window above a small wing. Inside, the house retains some original fireplaces and a dog-leg stair.
