Description
Pear Tree Farmhouse is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of brick and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are fitted with 6-pane sashes and have rock-faced stone sills. The entrance is notable for its panelled pilasters, frieze, and cornice. A wooden gutter is supported by curved brackets, and there are brick stacks at each end of the house. At the rear, there is a wing and some horizontally sliding sashes. Inside, the ground floor includes an ovolo-moulded beam, while the first floor features a wide-boarded door.
