SENELEY GREEN SCHOOL LANE (north side) Garswood Branch Library

(Formerly listed as Catholic Infant's School, (former Senelly Green Grammar School) under Downall Green Road)

7.12.66 II Grammar School, now part of Garswood R.C. Infants School and used as Public Library. Founded 1588. Stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Weathered base. Ground floor cross windows with double- chamfered mullions and transoms. 1st floor 2-light mullioned windows. South facade has C20 low 3-bay projection, 2 bays with gables. C20 entrance to east gable end has cross window above, and plaque: "THE/GERARD/INFANTS SCHOOL/1902". West gable end has 2 brick buttresses and stone stack. Interior has 1st floor removed and inserted ceiling.
