Description
Jolliver Tree Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed, with most having single glazing bars and horns; however, the window in the third bay on the ground floor has vertical glazing bars. The entrance features a wide-boarded door. There is a corbelled gable-end stack with a round shaft. At the rear, there is a gabled wing that includes a gable-end stack and an outshut under a catslide roof on the left return. This area has a window with small-paned fixed glazing and an opening light. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have wide-boarded studded doors and a fireplace with a bread oven.
