Description
The Grange is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with a rear wing that is said to date from the 17th century but is fragmentary and partially rebuilt. The building is constructed of brick, with part of the rear wing made of stone, and it has a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has five bays. The windows feature gauged brick flat arches and are sashed without glazing bars. The central entrance has an elliptical-headed design, with a half-glazed doorcase, a complete fanlight, and an eight-panel door. There are four chimneys: two cross-axial and two at the ends. Inside, there is a mid-19th century fireplace and grate located in the entrance hall. The rear wing, although older, does not retain any of its original features.
