Description
Deanwood Manor is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two gabled bays. A cornice runs above the first floor, and the corners are accentuated with quoins. The ground floor includes canted bay windows. The first and second-floor windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain surrounds. The round-headed entrance features moulded jambs, imposts, and an archivolt, with a plaque above that has an architrave but no inscription. At the rear, there are double-chamfered mullioned windows in the first and second bays, with two lights in the first bay and three lights in the second bay, all including transoms. The house has lateral stacks and a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior is likely from the 19th century.
