House and attached garden wall. Probably earlier C19; altered, and extended to rear. White painted roughcast on brick, slate roof. 2-bay plan at right-angles to street, with rear outshut under catslide roof; small set-back wing to right and C20 extension to rear of this. EXTERIOR: single storey; 2-window range. Almost symmetrical. Gabled porch off-set slightly left, with C20 door and side window; one 8/8 sash each side. Roof with oversailing eaves and verges, gable chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: garden wall attached to front left corner, bounding narrow triangular garden between street and churchyard wall; approx. 1m high, constructed of 4 courses of large rectangular sandstone blocks with half-round coping bricks; gateway near to house. Forms group with Church of St Cuthbert (qv).
