CROSBY WATERLOO ROAD (East side) Boundary wall and gateways to Old Christ Church churchyard

GV II Wall bounding north and west sides of churchyard, with gateways and gates. c1891-99, probably by H.J Austin of Austin and Paley. Snecked red sandstone wall, with chamfered and moulded coping, ashlar gate piers and wrought-iron gates. Wall approximately 1 metre high, ramped up to broad gate piers near the north and south ends of the west side and the east end of the north side, all these piers with traceried panels and curved tops. Pairs of wrought-iron bar-railing gates with swept top rails and traceried top panels.
