Description

The gatepiers and boundary wall at the front of 1-13 Beach Lawn in Crosby were likely built around 1867. The structure is made of rendered brick, except for the south return to Blucher Street, which is not rendered. It features a sandstone coping and stands approximately one metre high. Each house has a pair of square gate piers with chamfered bases and corners, topped with low pyramidal caps that have moulded rims. The south return wall ramps up to the corner of the first house. This structure is included for its group value.
