Description

This is a group of three lamp standards surrounding a war memorial on a small road island in Crosby. Likely dating from the late 19th century, the lamp standards have been altered and slightly relocated. They are made of cast iron and feature glass lamps. The standards are simple columnar structures topped with branches; two of the standards hold two pendent globular lamps each, while the third has only one lamp, which has replaced the original lantern-type lamps. These lamp standards form a group with the war memorial.
