Description

The retaining wall surrounding the churchyard of St. Thomas' is a Grade II listed structure. It extends around all four sides of the graveyard, with the section facing the road measuring approximately 47 meters in length and incorporating a lych gate. The date of the wall is uncertain, but a stone on the south side is dated 1676, while the lych gate is from the 19th century. The stonework is built on bedrock in the section that faces the road.
