Description

The wall, railings, and gates surrounding St Thomas's Churchyard were built around 1870. They form a circular boundary and consist of a roughly coursed and squared rubble plinth wall topped with ashlar copings. The wall supports cast-iron railings, where short posts hold up long rails. There are gates at the cardinal points, with piers featuring stepped raking copings, and the timber gates have latticed upper panels.
