Description
The Parsonage is a house that dates back to the early 17th century, with additions made in the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a concrete tile roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of two bays, with the second bay being recessed. To the west, there is a two-storey, two-bay addition made of rendered brick, also with a tile roof and a band over the ground floor. The windows are modern casement style, and there is a skylight in the third bay. The second bay features a modern gable porch. On the right side of the third bay, there is a blocked entrance with a large lintel. The front facing the street has a four-light double-chamfered-mullioned window. At the rear, there is an outshut. The building has one gable-end stack and one cross-axial stack. Inside, there is a room that shows signs of blocked windows, with ovolo moulded beams that have stops, and a fireplace featuring an ovolo beam and a corbel at the south end. The room at the east end has roughly chamfered beams and a stone fireplace with a chamfered lintel.
