Description
11 Deane Road is a house built in the 1840s, constructed of stucco with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high with a basement and features five bays. The top cornice and embattled parapet add to its distinctive appearance. The end bays are highlighted by gables with blind quatrefoils and buttresses that culminate in panelled, gabled pinnacles.
The basement includes windows with label moulds beneath the second and fourth bay canted bay windows. All windows are fitted with small-paned casements that have pointed upper panes. There are basement entrances in the first and fifth bays; the entrance in the first bay is set within a segmental-headed recess, while the fifth bay features a segmental-headed cart entrance.
On the ground floor, the first bay has an architraved window with a label mould, and the fifth bay has a lancet window. The first floor contains three windows with architraves and label moulds, alternating with larger casements. The central entrance is framed by an architrave and label mould, featuring paired five-panel doors.
