Description
The Old House is a house built in the 1840s, constructed of stucco with a slate roof. It has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, featuring a three-by-three bay layout. The ground floor displays channelled rustication, topped with a frieze and a modillioned cornice, along with quoins. There is a stack at the end of the first bay. The third bay on the ground floor has a tripartite window with segmental heads. The first-floor windows are adorned with architraves, scrolled friezes, and consoled cornices, while there is a round-headed window in the gable. A projecting porch features a round-headed entrance flanked by angle pilasters and an archivolt. The house also has an iron balcony on the first floor and some iron railings. The left side of the building facing the esplanade includes three canted bays on the ground floor.
