No. 70 on Huskisson Street is a house built around 1840. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall with a basement and features three bays. There is a sill band, frieze, and cornice above the first floor, along with a top frieze. The first bay includes a stuccoed two-storey canted bay window, while the third bay has a projecting ground floor window adorned with angle pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and a tripartite sash. The two windows on the first floor have eared architraves, and the first bay features a tripartite sash on the second floor. All windows are sashed and do not have glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by an Ionic porch. There are iron balconies on the first floor for the first and third bays, and iron railings with decorative heads surround the area and steps.
