Description
No. 8 Abercromby Square is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with a basement and features seven bays. There is a lintel band at the basement level, sill bands on the first and second floors, and a top frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. The entrance, located in the second bay, is adorned with angle pilasters, an entablature, a complete overlight, and a six-panel door. An iron balcony is present on the first floor, along with plain iron railings around the area. A five-bay return section has a similar entrance.
