Description
No. 90 Chatham Street is a house built in the 1820s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring eight bays, with a three-bay return to Abercromby Square. There is a lintel band at the basement level, sill bands on the first and second floors, and a top frieze facing Abercromby Square, along with a cornice and blocking course. The first three bays have a break with a mansard roof. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, although some of the end bays have blind windows. The entrance is adorned with angle pilasters and an entablature. There are plain iron area railings and a first-floor iron balcony overlooking Abercromby Square.
