Description

No. 17 Abercromby Square is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features one bay. There is a basement lintel band, sill bands, and a top frieze with a cornice and blocking course. The front has a two-storey rectangular bay window with tripartite windows that have sashes but no glazing bars. On the second floor, there are two windows with wedge lintels, also sashed and without glazing bars. The return side includes an enclosed porch with angle pilasters, a frieze cornice, and a blocking course. The property is surrounded by plain iron area railings.
