19, New Hall, Longmoor Lane

No 19 New Hall is a house that is part of a cottage homes complex built between 1887 and 1889 by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed of common brick, featuring red brick and stone dressings, and has a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and consists of five bays, with two bays at each end that project under gables adorned with decorative barge boards. The design includes flush brick sill bands and impost courses that extend over the segmental heads of the windows, which are sashed and have flush brick quoins. The entrance features a half-glazed doorcase and door. The gables are decorated with brick bands and cartouches, while the long plain return walls are fitted with sashes.
