Description

15 New Hall, located on Longmoor Lane in Longmoor, is a house built as part of a cottage homes complex between 1887 and 1889, designed by Charles Lancaster. The house is constructed primarily of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high and five bays wide, with two bays projecting at each end under gabled roofs featuring decorative barge boards. The detailing includes flush brick and sill bands, and impost courses above segmental-headed windows, which have flush brick quoins and sash windows. The front entrance is marked by a half-glazed doorcase. The gables are adorned with brick bands and cartouches. The long, plain return walls also feature sash windows.
