Description
26 New Hall on Longmoor Lane is a former ancillary building constructed between 1887 and 1889 by Charles Lancaster. It is built from common brick with red brick and stone dressings, featuring slate roofs with tile cresting. The building is single-storey and consists of six bays, with a flush sill band and an impost course that extends over the window heads. The windows are designed with brick quoins and casements. The right side of the building has eleven bays, including two projecting gabled bays, and the windows here have segmental heads. There are 20th-century extraction units present. Additionally, there is a rear range that is two storeys high and consists of seven bays.
