Description
No. 13 New Hall on Longmoor Lane is a house built between 1887 and 1889 as part of a cottage homes complex designed by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and features five bays, with two bays at each end that project under gables adorned with decorative barge boards. The windows have segmental heads with flush brick quoins and are sashed, while the brick sill bands and impost courses extend over the windows. The entrance includes a half-glazed doorcase and door. The gables are decorated with brick bands and cartouches, and the long plain return walls also feature sashed windows.
