This is a house, part of a cottage homes complex, built between 1887 and 1889. It was designed by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of five bays, with two bays at each end projecting under gabled roofs that have decorative barge boards. The gables are ornamented with brick bands and cartouches. The long, plain return walls incorporate sash windows.
