Description

No. 11 New Hall on Longmoor Lane is a house that is part of a cottage homes complex built between 1887 and 1889 by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed from common brick, featuring red brick and stone dressings, and has a slate roof. It stands two stories tall and has five bays, with two bays at each end that project under gables adorned with decorative barge boards. The design includes flush brick sill bands and impost courses above the segmental heads of the windows, which have flush brick quoins and are fitted with sash windows. The entrance features a half-glazed doorcase and door. The gables are decorated with brick bands and cartouches, while the long plain return walls also have sash windows.
