Description
No. 24 New Hall on Longmoor Lane is a house built between 1887 and 1889 as part of a cottage homes complex designed by Charles Lancaster. The building is constructed of common brick with red brick and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. It stands two stories high and features five bays, with two projecting bays at each end under gables that have decorative barge boards. The façade includes flush brick sill bands and impost courses above the segmental heads of the windows, which are sashed and have flush brick quoins. The entrance features a half-glazed doorcase and door. The gables are adorned with brick bands and cartouches, while the long return walls are plain and also have sashed windows.
