Description
14 Holmefield Road is a mid-19th century house built of stucco with a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and features four bays. The first bay is recessed and lower than the others, while the second bay has a hipped roof. The third bay projects forward and is topped with a gable. Both gables have decorative barge boards supported by bracketed beasts.
The ground floor of the third and fourth bays includes an extension with a three-light mullioned and transomed window that has stained glass. To the left, there is an entrance with a four-centred head and a gable above in the parapet. The first floor features a stepped three-light window in the third bay and an architraved window with a label mould in the second bay. The first bay has a 20th-century casement window, and the end bay displays quatrefoil panels. The right return is similar in style, and the rear of the house has a verandah supported by iron columns and brackets, topped with a glass roof.
