Description

Bankside is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in a two by three bay configuration. There is a sill band at the first floor and the eaves are boxed at the ends. The gables are adorned with elaborate barge boards. The windows have label moulds and include tripartite sashes, with a canted bay window in the first bay. The right return of the house has three projecting bays and two gables, with an end two-storey canted bay window. The first bay also includes an enclosed porch that has an embattled parapet and a six-panel door.
