Description

The Archbishop's House, a Roman Catholic building, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone and has been undergoing roof repairs since 1984. The house is two storeys high and features six bays, with the end three bays creating a symmetrical appearance. There is a cornice above the ground floor, along with a top frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The ends have flat incised pilasters with wreaths in the frieze above. The windows lack frames as of 1984. A central Doric porch is present, and the window above it has an architrave, frieze, and consoled cornice. The first three bays exhibit later, irregular fenestration. At the rear, there is a parallel block.
