Description

Yewfield is an early 19th-century house of stucco construction with a slate roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and it has a three-bay by three-bay layout. A flat band runs along the ground floor, and a top frieze, cornice, and blocking course are present. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; those on the first floor have label moulds, with the central window featuring a consoled gabled cornice. Two windows in the gable have casements. The central entrance features a complete overlight and a half-glazed door. A ground floor verandah is present, with lattice ironwork and a swept roof. On the left return to the street, there is a 20th-century lean-to extension and a central first-floor round-headed window.
