Description

This building is a school, now used as a parish rooms and office, dating from 1823, as indicated by a round sandstone plaque. Constructed of brick with stone dressings, it features a slate roof with red tile cresting. The structure is one storey and comprises five bays. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows with glazing bars. A central gable with a pediment displays the dated plaque within a round arch, topped with an iron pinnacle. A gable return porch bears the inscription “KNOW THYSELF”.
