Description

The stable block for numbers 4 and 6 was built in the 1840s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays. It features stone eaves and a gable on the third bay. The first and second bays of the ground floor have sashed windows with glazing bars. The first, second, and fourth bays on the first floor include pitching eyes. The third bay has a segmental-headed opening leading to a recess with three doors, including a loading door to the gable. The fourth bay contains a segmental-headed garage door. This stable block is included for its group value.
