Description

Acrefield is a house dating from before 1840. It is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. Originally three bays wide, the central bay projects forward and is topped with a pediment. The ground floor has a rectangular bay window to one end, while the windows on the first floor are set within architraves. A distyle-in-antis Ionic porch provides access via a pair of four-panel doors. A later extension to the left is of no particular architectural interest. The right return to the street features a two-storey bow window. Twentieth-century casement windows have been inserted into the first floor of the first and second bays.
