Description

Blair Lea Lodge is a lodge dating from around 1870. It is constructed of brick with blue banding and has a slate roof. The lodge is one storey high, with a two-bay facade and two-bay side elevation. A recessed angle forms a porch with a turret above, supported by a round column. The front facade features two 20th-century casement windows. The right return has a rectangular bay window with a hipped slate roof under a gablet. The second bay on the return side has a gablet over the window. The turret is decorated with brick diapering and a cornice featuring a gargoyle, topped by a short slate spire.
