Description
Oak Cottage is a lodge built in 1842 as an access point to Oak House, formerly Nos. 15 and 17 Aigburth Hall Avenue. The lodge is constructed of stone with a slate roof. It is a single-storey building with two bays. Characteristic features include boxed eaves and windows with floating consoled cornices; the cornice on the right-hand window is lower than the other. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A central projecting pilaster and keyed archivolt are also present.
