Description

CLAUGHTON SD 54 SW 8/52 Crabtree Nook 17-4-1967 - II

House, early C18, altered. Sandstone rubble with slate roof and brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Ground-floor windows have had mullions removed and modern frames inserted is, floor has 3-light chamfered mullioned windows. Door at right has quoined surround. Second door, probably an insertion, to right of left-hand bay under a modern porch. Coped gables with chimneys. Outshut to part of rear wall, which has mullioned windows which appear to be of timber.
