Description

Sandholme Bridge is a bridge over the River Calder, built in 1811. It features rock-faced sandstone with an ashlar parapet. The bridge has a single segmental arch, with a band below the solid parapet that has coping. The western parapet includes a sunken oval above the center of the arch, which is inscribed with 'WT 1811'.
