Description

Cross House Farmhouse is a house, probably built in the mid-18th century, with later alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. The building features two storeys and three bays, with the left-hand bay being a later addition. The windows have chamfered stone surrounds typical of the 19th century and consist of three lights with timber mullions. The ground-floor windows are sashed with glazing bars, while the first-floor windows are also sashed and have hoods above them. The door, located between the second and third bays, has a plain stone surround and a pitched timber hood. There are chimneys on the right-hand gable and to the left of the second bay.
