Description
Low Moor Head is a house from the mid-18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and originally consisted of two bays. The windows have chamfered surrounds, although the mullions have been removed, with one remaining in each window of the right-hand bay. The door, located between the bays, has long-and-short jambs and is topped with a pitched slated hood. To the right, a former farm building has been converted into part of the house and includes two bays with windows that have plain reveals. There are chimneys on the gables and between the house and the former farm building. The house is listed for its group value.
