Description
Beech Farmhouse is a house dating from 1713, constructed of slobbered rubble with a slate roof. It originally featured an end baffle-entry plan and is two storeys high. The original front wall, which faces southeast, has two bays and includes rebated and chamfered mullioned windows. Most of these windows are three lights, except for the first-floor window on the left, which has four lights and a king mullion. To the left, there is a blocked doorway with a lintel inscribed '17 TCA 13'. Further left, there is an addition that includes a modern ground-floor window with plain reveals. A chimney is located to the left of the blocked door and on the right-hand gable. The current doorway is on the northwest side and leads into the addition. This wall features a rebated and chamfered stair window, which is partly blocked.
