Description
Dolphinholme Bridge is a bridge built in 1791, constructed from sandstone ashlar. It features a single segmental arch with alternately projecting voussoirs and has two pairs of end piers. Below the solid parapet, which has shaped coping, there is a string course. On the upstream side at the northern end, one of the voussoirs is inscribed with 'S. Law 1791'. The soffit of the arch displays many masons' marks.
