Description
Old Mill House is a house built around 1800, constructed from sandstone rubble and topped with a slate roof. It has three storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have plain stone surrounds. On the left side, there is a single-storey ashlar bow with a cornice, which features a bowed sashed window with glazing bars. The central bay contains a door with a plain stone surround and a fanlight above it. The gables have chimneys that are coped with kneelers. The right-hand gable wall, which faces the road, has one bay with sashed windows that also have glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. To the right of this bay is a tall narrow stair window, which has a plain stone surround, glazing bars, and three transoms.
