Description

This is a boundary stone located north-east of Jubilee Tower on Hare Appletree Fell. It dates from 1692 or is a replacement for a stone from that year. The stone is made of sandstone and has a rhomboid shape. The top of the stone is inscribed with the letters 'H', '+', and 'S'. The south-east face features the inscription 'C C 1692'.
