Description
Low Moor Head, also known as the south-west house, is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The ground-floor windows have stone surrounds with a slight chamfer, while the first-floor windows are similar in style. The left-hand first-floor window retains two flush chamfered mullions, with one removed, while the right-hand window has had its mullion removed entirely. There is also a blocked window on the left with plain reveals. The house has gable chimneys, and between the bays, there is a porch with an outer doorway that features a stone surround with an elliptical arch and keystone.
