GV II

Lychgate. Dated 189[] on west wall. Sandstone, with some timber-framing and hipped stone slate roof. Rectangular plan. High stone side walls surmounted by the sills of a short timber frame with arch-bracing which carries a wide oversailing hipped roof. INTERIOR partitioned by a shoulder-high coffin rest. Forms group with Church of St James (q.v.).
