Description
Lychgate south of the Church of St James, built around the early 19th century with a later 19th-century roof and gates. It is constructed from slate rubble and features a slate hipped roof with a lead roll ridge and cemented hips. The stone side walls support the hipped roof, which is open underneath. There are late 19th-century boarded double gates with iron grilles at the top. The underside of the roof is plastered, and the ground inside the lychgate is paved with slate.
