Description
No. 21 Church Street is a small shop with a dwelling above, rebuilt in the 19th century but incorporating a re-set datestone from 1695. The exterior features white-painted roughcast on brick and a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan with a courtyard entry on the left side. It stands three low storeys tall with two levels of windows. The left lower level has one window, while the right has two; the ground floor features a 20th-century shop front. On the first floor, there are three windows with quoined surrounds, including one on the left with altered glazing and two with four-pane sashes. The second floor has a tilting casement window on the left and one four-pane sash window on the right.
