Description
The Old Brewhouse, located on the north side of the courtyard behind Number 35 Buck i' th' Vine, is a building that dates back to the 18th century. It originally served as a brewhouse with an attached bottling house and is now used as a store. The structure is made of red brick in English garden wall bond and features slate roofs. It has a rectangular plan divided into two parts and stands two storeys high, with two gables and a vertical joint between them.
On the left side, the bottling house has a segmental-headed window and a larger segmental-headed window above it, which is fitted with horizontal wooden louvres. To the right, the brewhouse has a large segmental-headed window, a doorway, a small window, and a loading door situated above these openings. At the rear, there is a louvred window in the bottling house that mirrors the one at the front. This building is included for its group value with the nearby structures.
